Founded in 1963. A bilingual, bicultural (Chinese, English) institution of higher learning, consisting of nine Constituent Colleges: New Asia College (founded 1949), Chung Chi College (founded 1951), United College (founded 1956), Shaw College (founded 1986), Morningside College (2006), S.H. College (2006), C.W. Chu College (founded 2007), Wu Yee Sun College (founded 2007) and Lee Woo Sing College (founded 2007). A self-governing corporation financed from grants made by the HKSAR Government, and fees and donations from private sources.

Requirements
  • Admission details: Local students, Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) and Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) or General Certificate of Education Examination (Advanced Level) or other equivalent qualifications. Non-local students, possess a qualification obtained outside Hong Kong which qualifies them for university admission in the country/region where such qualification is obtained.
