Yunnan Normal University (YNNU)
Founded 1938 as Teachers' College of the State Southwest Associated University through the merger of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University. Renamed National Kunming Normal College 1946. Acquired present status and title 1984. Merged with Yunnan Education College and Yunnan Sports College. Under the jurisdiction of the Yunnan Provincial Government.
