Institute of Education
Founded 1902. Incorporated as a Constituent School of the University of London 1987. The Institute provides courses for higher degrees by research and instruction, a base for research projects and programmes, postgraduate initial training for teaching, post-initial programmes of study for teachers and others in the education service, and a range of specialized and short courses for foreign students.
