Requirements
  • Admission details: Either Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), with Grade E/Level 2 or above in 6 subjects including Chinese Language (or French or German) and English Language with at least 5 subjects in a single sitting, and Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE), with Grade E or above in Advanced Supplementary ('AS') subjects of Chinese Language and Culture, and use of English and either 2 advanced Level (AL) subjects or 1 AL subject plus 2 AS subjects obtainable in any two sittings or an acceptable equivalent qualification. Under the new 4-year education system from 2012, the general entrance requirements for applicants with Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) would be: Level 3 for English Language and Chinese Language, and Level 2 for Mathematics, Liberal Studies and One Elective subject. Some programmes have specific minimum entrance requirements, or additions to the above General Entrance Requirements.
