University of Turku
Founded 1920 as a private institution on the initiative of the Finnish University Society. Inaugurated 1922. Became State institution 1974 under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. Merged with Turku School of Economics 2010.

- Admission details: Secondary school certificate (Ylioppilastutkinto) or foreign equivalent, and entrance examination. Applicants not fluent in Finnish are required to hold a lower university degree (BA, BSc) and TOEFL test
