Renamed Zhejiang Institute of Technology 1978. Acquired present title 1993. Merged with Economic and Management Institute of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou Shipbuilding Industry School, Zhejiang Building Material Industry School respectively 1994, 1999 and 2001.
