University of Waterloo (UW)
Founded 1957 as Waterloo College Associate Faculties in association with Waterloo College (a Liberal Arts College operated by the Lutheran Church, later Waterloo Lutheran University, now Wilfrid Laurier University). Acquired present status and title 1959. The University of Waterloo Act was updated 1972.
