Founded 1885 as Severance Union Medical Clinic. Merged with Chosun Christian College, established 1915, to form present University 1957.The University is related to the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia. It is a private research university, one of the three most prestigious ones in the country. Respected in the studies of medicine and business administration.
