Hanyang University
Founded 1939 as Dong-Ah Polytechnic Academy, reorganized as Kunkuk College 1945 and Hanyang College of Engineering 1948. Acquired present title and status 1956. A private Institution financed by the Hanyang Educational Foundation. Hanyang university was the country's first college to offer engineering and architecture programs, and is consistently ranked among the leading universities in STEM fields nationally.
