National University of Samoa (NUS)
Founded 1984 by statutory authority of the National University of Samoa Act. Funded almost entirely by Government grants. The Western Samoa Teachers College was amalgamated to the University in 1997 to create its Faculty of Education. Acquired present status and title 2006.
