Rostov State University of Economics RINH (RSUE)
Rostov State University of Economics (RSUE) was founded in 1931 as Institute of Finance and Economy (RFEI) that began classes in 2 programmes: State Budgeting and Credit. In 1964 due to the diversity of its courses, RFEI, by decision of Ministry of Education, got a new name that more precisely reflected content of its educational and scientific activity - Rostov Institute of National Economy (RINH). The last decade of the 20th century turned out to be the most challenging and dynamic for the University. Economic and political changes in the USSR and Russia led to transformation of educational and required a quick and effective solution to different tasks. In ten yearsthe University changed its name twice: in 1994 it became Rostov State Academy of Economics and in 2000 obtained its current title. Since its creation, the University has become on of the major centres of education and science in economics and administration in the Russian Federation.
