University of Minho (UMinho)
Founded in 1973, the University of Minho is a State institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, located in northern Portugal. It comes forth as a University of Projects (of research, teaching, and interaction with society), structured upon a matrix-based model which promotes interaction among its units (organic, cultural, services and specialised) and which favours multi- and interdisciplinary approaches.
