Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (AMTAP)
Founded 1940. Reorganised into Institute of Arts 1964. Reorganised into Moldova State University of Arts 1998. Acquired present status and title 2002. It is the oldest higher education institutions in the country, and the only state institution in the field of higher artistic education. Offers advanced professional training in the fields of arts, design and culturology, but also in preparing future teachers for culture and arts.
