Founded 1962 as private Istituto Superiore di Scienze Sociali by the Istituto Trentino di Cultura. Recognized by the State 1966 and became Libera Università 1972. Acquired status and title 1982. A State Institution enjoying administrative autonomy. Acquired present status 1995.
