Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction
Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC) was founded as construction faculty incorporated with the Polytechnic Institute in 1920, from 1930 to 1934 it functioned as an autonomous Construction Institute and since 1934 it functioned as a civil engineering department within Azerbaijan Industrial Institute. In 1975, Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute began life as an autonomous institution of higher education. In 2000, Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute was named Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
