Xuchang University (XCU)
Founded 1907 as Xuchang Teachers’ learning House. Transformed into Xuchang Teachers’ School 1911. Successively renamed Henan Provincial Xuchang Teachers’ School, Xuchang Teachers’ School, Secondary Teachers’ School and Xuchang Teachers’ College. Acquired present status 2002.
