Founded 1907 as a secondary school. Renamed as Agricultural School of Jilin Province 1953. Merged with North China University 2001 to form the North China Institute of Agricultural Technology university. Merged with Jilin Special College 2004 and upgraded into Jilin Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology.
