Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUT)
Founded 1951 as Inner Mongolia Engineering College on the basis of the Suiyuan Provincial Technical School. Initially under direct administration of the Ministry of Mechanical Industry and the Ministry of Agricultural Machinery, the college has been subordinated to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region 1983. Acquired present title 1993.
