The University of Lincoln
The university was originally established as Hull School of Art (1861), and became Humberside College of Higher Education 1982 and Humberside Polytechnic 1991. Acquired university status 1992 and renamed University of Lincolnshire and Humberside 1996. Adopted present title 2001.
