Kremenchuk National University named after Mykhaylo Ostrogradskiy
Founded 1960 as General Technical Faculty of Poltava Engineering and Construction Institute. In 1971, became a part of Kharkiv Road Transport Institute. 1974, became Kremenchuk branch of Kharkiv State Polytechnic Institute. Established as Kremenchuk State Polytechnic Institute in 1997. Became Kremenchuk State Polytechnic University in 2000, became Kremenčutskiy Deržavnyi Universitet Imeni Mykhaila Ostrogradskogo (Kremenchuk State University named after Mykhaylo Ostrogradskiy) in 2009, and acquired current title 2013.
