Founded 1917 as Taiwan Commercial School of the Governor's Office. Renamed Taipei County Commercial School 1921 and Taipei County Second Commercial School 1945. Merged with First Commercial Schools and renamed Taiwan Provincial Taipei Commercial School 1949. Renamed Taipei Municipal Commercial and Vocational school 1967. Reorganized into a junior college and renamed Taipei Municipal Junior College of Business 1968. Renamed National Taipei Junior College of Business 1982. Acquired present status and title 2001.
