Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis (UGB)
Created by Law 90-03 of January 2, 1990, the University of Saint-Louis, is named Gaston Berger University (UGB) in February 1997. Its fundamental mission is "to participate in the training of senior managers in Senegal and other countries, to contribute to scientific research at national and international level, to promote and develop African cultural values" (art 1 of Decree 96-597 of 10 July 1996).
